Hope and Glory
Don’t you know?
In October, my mom’s cousin Bruce passed away at 94. He enjoyed a good life.
His brother Fred gave the eulogy:
“Bruce was about to graduate High School. The processional march was the British song “Land of Hope and Glory” by Edward Elgar, written in 1901. To practice, Bruce marched up and down their living room. For hours. And hours.”
That was Bruce. Sweetheart of a guy. And a very detail oriented attorney by trade.
Fred asked Bruce, “Why are practicing so much? No one will know if you are out of beat or out of step.”
Bruce replied, “I will know!”
Isn’t that the truth?
Don’t you know?
If you are honest with yourself, you know. Honesty is the key.
You know what’s required to succeed, to be the A-player.
You know what it takes to earn a nice raise or a bonus and what it takes to get promoted.
You know how to manage your spending to achieve your financial plan.
You know.
Or you know who to ask and what to read to succeed and achieve your goals and objectives.
Take the steps to put yourself in the best position and succeed and achieve what you desire!
You know!
Now please get to it!
